[Buffalo Wild Wings] has four new flavors to try.. ok.. three new ones, and the return of an old favorite.
Honey BBQ is back, which pleases a good percentage of our group that goes out about weekly.
Parmesan Garlic. I had no interest in trying this one. Boy was I wrong. After a quick swap with Sherri for one of my wings on our last visit, I’m hooked and was happy to swap for another one. It’s like an explosion of fettucini alfredo flavoring on a wing. It’s wondeful, and just something different.
Asian Zing. Blah. You might like it. Not hot enough for my tastes, and really sweet.. but I know a couple people that liked it.. so…
Mango Habanero. Very good. A nice habanero burn lingers while you enjoy the sweetness of the mango. A little too sweet for my tastes, but overall this is one of my favorites. I’m planning to get about half and half of these and the parmesan garlic on my next visit.
We’ll be going on Tuesday for dinner, as usual. Come and join us!
Wednesday night. Yeah. It sucked. And Thursday? You guessed it. It sucked too.
But Thursday night? And Friday? Yeah.. MUCH better.
Either the food I ate Wednesday evening disagreed with me, or more likely some sort of stomach virus similar to what Kylie suffered from last week, either way it sucked pretty bad.
Fortunately it didn’t last more than a day, and now I’m left with just a sore throat and cough from the stomach acid coming back up during the "bad times"
Blah.. I will have to make up some work time at some point this weekend though, since I had to stay home on Thursday.
Tonight, in about 16 minutes actually, [UFC 57] gets under way, with the headline bout being ["The Iceman" Chuck Liddell] going up against ["The Natural" Randy Couture] in a tie breaker matchup for the [UFC Light Heavyweight Championship].
This one should be one of the greatest UFC battles we’ve seen in a really long time, so any real [MMA] fans out there take notice. You won’t want to miss this one! I don’t really see too many of the undercard matches that I’m all that interested in, other than the return of [Frank Mir].
Although I’m a huge fan of Chuck Liddell, I did place a bet on Couture. The first match they had, Couture absolutely dominated Chuck. The second matchup Liddell caught him coming in and knocked him out, but I just think that had a lot to do with Randy making a mistake. After this knockout, which could have entirely been a fluke (granted — it could easily happen again) all the betting lines are in favor of Liddell? Sorry, I’m a huge fan, but I’ll take those odds.
Are you ready for some football? Tomorrow night Ben Roethlisberger will lead the Pittsburgh Steelers against the high powered offense of the Seattle Seahawks. Can they pull it through? Only time will tell, but if the dominance displayed against the leagues premier high powered offense in my mind, the Indianapolis Colts, then it shouldn’t be an problem.
Grab yourself some game food of your preferred variety (wings, chili, brats and dogs, burgers, nachos.. whatever), some beer if you want and get ready for one hell of a game! The best Superbowl in recent memory, [Titans/Rams in 2000] may get a run for it’s money with this one.
